Takushi Sugita is the editor responsible for The Promised Neverland on Weekly Shonen Jump from its serialization to the present time.
History
About 3 years ago, Sugita met Kaiu Shirai, who had gone to Jump to take his script to be analyzed. He liked the project and made the author keep insisting on it, but with another designer, since his drawings were not fit for the series and he thought that Kaiu could not maintain the quality of the series if it worked so much in the art as in the script. Sugita then organized the meeting of Kaiu and Posuka, an internet designer famous for the Japanese. Both Kaiu and Posuka loved each other's work and decided to continue working together.
